सहायक/ अतिरिक्त विकास अधिकारी एपीओ आदेश | Asst. BDO/ Addl. BDO APO Orders

The officers in charge of Rajasthan's Panchayati Raj Department—namely, the Asst. BDOs and Addl BDOs—receive APO orders.. This means they are waiting for jobs. Recently courts have looked into how these transfersre done. They are worried about how the people working in the field like VDOs and LDCs and JTs,'re suddenly moved to new jobs.

* What the courts say: The High Court has said that it is not right to transfer someone to a job without telling them where they will be working. The court thinks that this can lead to decisions being made by the people in charge of the Panchayat Samiti. The court has decided that people should not be made to leave their jobs until they have new jobs to go to.

* Rules for transferring jobs: The Rajasthan Service Rules say how transfers and new job assignments should be done. Usually people should start their jobs at the main office unless there is a very good reason, for them not to. The main goal is to make the Panchayati Raj institutions stronger. This is being done by using a computer system to keep track of things which makes it easier to be accountable and transparent and to keep an eye on things.
